Mickey was invited by Greg to photograph his personal library in January 2023 — as he wanted to leave a unique piece of art as a gift to his partner. Greg introduced the artist to his books and left her to work. They met again days later, when Mickey revealed two portraits created from his shelf, THE USE OF LIFE and MOBY DICK. Under the care of Harbour Hospice through the final months of his life,  Greg Barton died in June 2023 at age 55.”
