Personal NFT Collection

“Often, the story of an artifact’s journey is more remarkable than the object itself.” - Mackenzie Finklea, Author of Artifact Hunter

Despite my experimentation with this new medium, I’m still not certain why people collect NFTs. In the recent months of exploring the advent of this strange new digital world and considering what the Metaverse might become, I’ve come to the conclusion one’s personal NFT collection can be quite like collecting anything ― teapots, paintings, comic books. More often than not, people collect for the sake of collecting, not for turning around that teapot for a quick profit. This humble collection of NFTs spoke to me over the course of a few months exploring this medium, so I brought them home. I take pride in owning them, becoming their guardian in these uncharted waters. I love moving them around, playing curator, creating conversations between them, understanding how my vision as a collector is quite similar to that of my vision as an artist.
